AGM & Position of Chair of Destination Loch Ness
The AGM will take place on Thursday 24th May. More details will follow soon, but at the AGM the present chair, Freda Newton, will be stepping down after three years in the position. DLN are therefore now seeking nominations from members for the position. If you or anyone you know wish to be considered or wish more information about the position, please contact Graeme@visitlochness.com by no later than 3rd May.

Scam alert: Look out for something that LOOKS like an invoice from SLOM Solution ltd based in Croydon - regarding listings in something called britishintheweb.co.uk . This is not an invoice, but they are hoping that you think it's one and just pay it. (a very cheeky £298.68) Thanks to the Benleva Hotel for pointing this out. Please share.

which they are inviting individuals to email details of events, activities etc which are taking place across Scotland, suitable for tourist attendance or visits which they might profile as part of their ongoing emailers/ezines.

The campaign is ultimately about telling everyone about all the fantastic places to go and events that are on in Scotland, and inspiring people to get out and enjoy them.

There’s not a cost associated with this, they are just looking for content and images associated with the event, activity or place - the longer the lead in time the better. On receipt of information someone in the team will be in touch for further details as required.

Hello, My name is Frank Thompson and I have clients from abroad that will require accommodation for 2 couples (4 adults) arriving 5th February to depart 19th February. If you do have availability,I will need you to address the following points specifically;

1. TOTAL COSTS :
I will need you to send me the total cost for the accommodation of the 4
guests(2 couples) for the 2 weeks in February.
If the requested dates are unavailable,please be at liberty to suggest any alternative dates in March (But 5th to 19th preferably).

2. PAYMENT:
Let me know prepayment methods available to you.

3. OTHER SERVICES REQUIRED:
I have a special request that may require you to help make extra external arrangements for the guests.Will provide more details.

Tourist services will be taken care of by a tourist agent or guide that I will provide.
Call or email me back if you have accommodation and can accept prepayments by credit card or check payment.
