The Glenurquhart Bulletin published under the auspices of the Rural Community Association each year to coincide with Games Day -is seeking contributions with a local theme from far and near. Particularly sought are aspects of local and family history, poems with a local connection and reminiscences of life in the Glen in days gone by. Items on natural history –the flora and fauna of the area- are also sought. Contributions from all local organisations are also wanted. These may be in the form of a roundup of the years events and may be similar to or indeed complement your website.

‘Ceuman Beaga’ Gaelic Parent & Child Group and Nursery
We intend to bring the opportunity to learn Gaelic to children in the Glen Urquhart area by setting up a Ceuman Beaga Group (Little Steps Parent & Child group), a formal Gaelic nursery unit and a Gaelic medium primary unit.
The Ceuman Beaga group is a great way for both parents / carers and their children to get an introduction to Gaelic. A tutor is present to teach the parents / carers Gaelic that they can then go on to use with their children in the home environment - from getting up in the morning through to bed time! Whilst the children can have fun playing, with the supervision of playworkers, who will communicate and play with them in Gaelic. Drumnadrochit. More info from their website.
